She wants to revitalize the millenarian technique of carpet making which originates from the nomadic tribes of China, Iran and Afghanistan, who manually work the wool of the sheep. She uses the knowledge of the past to produce current, fresh and 100% natural pieces. The process is not woven in loom but rather felted by shrinking the wool fibres through friction with water and soap to give an almost magical result: felt, the first fabric created by man more than 6 thousand years before spinning and loom. The method is meticulous, and passion enables the hands to honour the tradition while, at the same time, bringing something fresh and contemporary. In the creative solution, the pieces are produced one-by-one into a single result. Inspiration: The Campos de Cima da Serra, next to the sheep herd and the native forest of Araucaria.
